I’m Scott Dobbe, your trusted, non-partisan choice for the Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority Board of Directors, District 4. 

My motivation to serve is grounded in lived experience:  

  • As a husband and father to four young children, I know that life is always in motion! 

  • As a little league coach, cub scout leader, and volunteer, I recognize our community is strengthened through service. 

  • As an architect and executive director of Omaha by Design, I see abundant opportunities to better connect our city as it grows and develops. 

My desire to serve is backed by a depth of experience:

I understand that people – and cities – thrive on connections.

Through my professional roles, I have learned how transportation links with broader regional priorities such as economic development, public health, and housing accessibility.

I have experienced firsthand how transit works best.

Riding transit as a daily commuter - and within more than three dozen cities worldwide - has given me a window to the most practical, innovative solutions we might apply right here in Omaha.

My record of leadership balances forward-thinking vision with civic responsibility.

I bring a proven, sensible approach to achieving shared community goals.
